Head out to work out


Working out outdoors is a fantastic way to keep fit while enjoying nature. Get set to take your gym sessions outdoors as five new exercise areas are almost here.

  • Opposite Al Reem 2
  • Between Mirador & Savannah
  • Alvorada open park
  • Opposite Aseel
  • The Oasis

The area is shaded under a robust canopy and you will find something for every fitness requirement including runners, ski runners, shoulder pull, and stationary bicycles.

Few tips to remember:

  • Do warm-ups first. It increases blood flow and temperature in the muscles to help decrease the risk of injuries.
  • No matter what the weather, hydrate!
  • Bananas are ideal for giving your muscles a boost before you begin your session. Have one or two around ten minutes before your session.
  • Don’t forget to keep masks on except during strenuous exercise – and remember, community gym rules apply.
