Communal spirit soars during Ramadan

The month of Ramadan brings out the best in community spirit and this year it reached an all-time high. In the true spirit of giving back, the holy month was marked by honoring the tireless efforts of our service providers.

Over 180,000 Iftar meal packets were distributed to the community’s service providers including, lifeguards, housekeeping staff, security guards and gardeners. The meal distribution was carried out across 12 main community locations and service provider campsites, while ensuring safety measures were always adhered to.

A time for giving, it truly was!

2020 Home Decoration Contest

01 January 2021

The 2020 Home Decoration Contest was a grand success, as dozens of homes throughout the neighbourhood put on a dazzling show with colourful lights, Christmas trees, snowmen, and even projected displays.

Our judges were captivated by the gorgeous sights, as residents showcased their own unique creative touches – there were signboards for Santa, pails of water, and giant stars in the garden trees.

After pondering over the entries at great length, the judges shortlisted the winning entries:

  • Edgard Abou Samara
  • Nina Hayek
  • Brian Gambin

Earth Hour 2021

27 March 2021

On 27 March 2021, the community came together bringing people from all over the world who stood in unity for our planet.  Earth hour was observed on this day, across Arabian Ranches, by switching off all non-essential lights for one hour.

Emaar encouraged all residents to do their part in conserving energy and aiding the global effort in fighting climate change.

Speed bumps

Safer community roads

To ensure the community’s roads are always safe, we’ve installed numerous strategic deterrents throughout Reem:

  • Speedhumps have been installed at numerous areas where pedestrians are likely to cross, such as near parks.
  • Plastic bollards have been installed at the sides of speed humps, inhibiting motorcyclists from riding around the humps and forcing them to slow down.
  • Road markings, lane lines, pedestrian crossings and other asphalt markings are being repainted to make them more clearly visible.

Safety is a our top priority and we hope these deterrents will contribute in making your community roads safer for residents and visitors.
