Swimming pools

All communities in Arabian Ranches II have their own swimming pools as well as a special shaded children’s paddling pool. The facilities are enclosed and supervised by a full-time lifeguard from 7 AM through to 10 PM, every day.

Each pool is set within a paved terrace, lined with sun loungers and parasols to provide shade. There are showers and changing rooms for residents too.

Residents may also appoint their own personal trainers (certified by Dubai Sports Council) to coach them at the community pool. For this, trainers are required to obtain their gate pass from the security gatehouse by submitting the necessary documents in order to gain access to the community.

Ranches Primary School

Located next to The Ranches Souk, Ranches Primary School offers UK National Curriculum with an emphasis on core development skills in subjects like English, Math, Arabic and Science. The Primary Curriculum is enhanced through a range of specialist activities that have been developed to meet the needs of an international community of learners to provide a holistic educational experience.

Football ground

A full-sized football pitch is open to all residents of Arabian Ranches II. Located next to The Leisure Centre, the pitch sports a well-maintained lawn surface and goalposts. Floodlights ensure matches can go on even after dusk. The football pitch is open from 8 AM to 8 PM.

The pitch is also home to the community’s events, where thousands of residents gather for events such as the annual Halloween party.

Children’s play area

Arabian Ranches II is home to numerous outdoor kids’ play areas, each of which features a number of exciting play equipment for junior residents. Climbing frames with slides and poles, rope bridges, spring rockets, swings, and numerous other equipment are surrounded by beautifully landscaped gardens.

The rubberised anti-slip flooring ensures adequate grip while helping cushion the impact of any falls.

The play areas are shaded and also feature benches, allowing parents and supervising guardians to relax and keep an eye on their children. The play areas are open to all residents from any part of the community.

The kids’ play areas are open from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Blossom Nursery

Committed to ensuring the highest quality international education for all children, Blossom Nursery offers a safe and stimulating environment that caters for a holistic learning experience. Equipped with facilities such as a fun outdoor play area and dedicated soft play room, each child is also assigned a ‘key person’ who helps foster a close bond by taking the time to get to know the child and develop trust. 

The children’s development, growth and learning are supported through the enhancement of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. Blossom Nursery offers an individual learning journey for each child and values partnership with parents.

Basketball courts

Arabian Ranches II is home to two half-size basketball courts, located at the Rasha and Yasmin communities and open to all residents. The courts are well equipped with a number of features to ensure a comfortable playing environment including the mesh fencing that keeps the ball within the court. The durable soft latex surface helps reduce the impact on joints, allowing players of all ages to enjoy the game with minimal discomfort.

The courts are open from 8 AM to 8 PM.

Al Shaqoor mosque

Arabian Ranches II is home to a large mosque, Al Shaqoor Mosque, offering Muslim residents and visitors a space for daily prayers and peaceful contemplation. Located next to The Ranches Souk, the spacious mosque is large enough to accommodate over 1200 worshippers and also features a nearby parking area.

Adorned with plush carpeting and ornamental décor, the mosque offers the ideal setting for worshippers to offer prayers in a tranquil ambience.

The Oasis

Located between Saheel 1 and 2, The Oasis features a wide variety of fruit plants including papaya, fig, mango, orange, lemon and banana, in addition to herbs such as mint and aloe vera. A water-feature, drinking water fountain and yoga/kids’ play area complete the space to make it the perfect place to take a break and relax while cycling or strolling through the community.

Smart Police Station

Arabian Ranches boasts its very own Smart Police Station (SPS), located next to the retail centre near Alma 1. The fully automated walk-in police station was among the first of its kind in the city – it’s solar-powered, offers 25 services in 6 different languages, and equipped to serve people of determination.

Individuals can file criminal complaints conveniently and simply by heading to the SPS and report the matter within a few minutes with the aid of the latest and smartest policing solutions.

The station is open 24 hours, seven days a week and needs no human intervention.
