Basketball courts

Arabian Ranches is home to 19 half-size basketball courts, strategically located throughout the community and open to all residents. The courts are well equipped with a number of features to ensure a comfortable playing environment – LED lights allow matches to go on after dusk and mesh fencing keeps the ball in play.

The durable soft latex surface helps reduce the impact on joints, allowing players of all ages to enjoy the game with minimal discomfort.

Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club

Launched in April 2006, the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club has become the heart of equestrian activity amongst residents in Dubai as well as visitors to the city. The club hosts local and international polo events on two international size polo fields; whilst the riding, showjumping and dressage arenas have sandblasted surfaces that are considered to be the best in the region.

There are 336 stables and an international standard exercise track. Leisure riding activities include desert hacking, which both members and non-members can enjoy.

The clubhouse, located close to Arabian Ranches and built in the style of a Spanish ‘hacienda’, presents guests with a choice of dining, leisure and entertainment options.

Arabian Ranches (retail centre)

With over 20 retail units offering a choice of shopping, dining and entertainment options, Arabian Ranches (retail centre) offers residents a world of convenience – without ever having to step outside the community. The complex houses 20 retail units, including a supermarket, restaurants and a number of cafes.

There are also banking facilities along with a pharmacy, photo printers, pet shop and travel agency – a laundry and nail spa/hair salon complete the set.

There’s a large parking area outside the retail centre, as well as cycle stands for residents who prefer to arrive via bicycle.

Arabian Ranches Golf Club

The Arabian Ranches Golf Club was designed by Ian Baker-Finch in association with Nicklaus Design. An 18-hole, par 72 desert-style grass course, golfers can enjoy immaculate fairways and greens set amidst the ‘sandy waste’ of the natural terrain.

Every standard of golfer will appreciate the GPS yardage service available on the course golf carts; and The Academy offers a selection of coaching programmes with PGA-qualified professionals on its par-three practice area.

The Spanish Colonial-style clubhouse is home to the Ranches Restaurant and Birdies Sports Lounge, with a terrace giving scenic views over the ninth and 18th holes. The clubhouse is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week for reservations.

Reem features over 12 km of walking trails that meander throughout the communities, taking residents through their own neighbourhoods and offering the chance to explore others too.

The trails are enveloped by a variety of vibrant landscaping, with flame trees, jasmine shrubs, fountain grass and golden shower trees lining the pathways.

Benches installed along the way offer residents the opportunity to get some rest during their exploratory escapades, allowing for a moment to sit back and revel in the natural beauty of the community.

The community is home to a full-size volleyball court, located next to the skate park near Mira 4. Complete with a sandy surface meant to mimic playing at the beach, the white sand helps cushion any falls, allowing players to safely enjoy the game with complete freedom.

There are five full-size tennis courts available to residents of Reem. The courts are enclosed with a high fence and surfaced with state-of-the-art, multi-layered acrylic and layers of latex, allowing players to enjoy the game for longer durations. LED focus lights ensure adequate visibility even after nightfall.

Residents may also appoint their own personal trainers (certified by Dubai Sports Council) to coach them at the community’s tennis courts. For this, trainers are required to obtain their gate pass from the security gatehouse by submitting the necessary documents in order to gain access to the community.

To book the court, log into on this website and select the ‘Amenities Reservation’. Reservations can be made up to two weeks in advance and for a maximum of two hours. The courts are open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

All communities in Reem have their own swimming pool as well as a special shaded children’s paddling pool. The facilities are enclosed and supervised by a full-time lifeguard from 7 AM through to 10 PM, every day.

Each pool is set within a paved terrace, lined with sun loungers and parasols to provide shade. There are showers and changing rooms for residents too.

Located near the volleyball court at gatehouse 1, the skate park offers a selection of custom-built ramps, including two half-pipes and a quarter-pipe for skateboarders and BMX enthusiasts. The ramps are surfaced with a special coating that offers fantastic grip, whilst various rails give multiple opportunities to ‘grind’ and ‘ollie’.

To make things more interesting, the place is also adorned with a vibrant display of funky graffiti. Floodlights mean the action can go on well into the night and several benches provide a great spot from which to watch the spectacle.

The park is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM and is for the exclusive use of residents and their guests. Residents are advised to wear a helmet and appropriate protective gear while using the skate park.

Note: Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Your community features a dog park, providing dog owners with the ideal spot to allow their canines off-leash in a safe setting. Featuring numerous benches and umbrellas, the park also has a soft turf that’s gentle on their animals’ paws.

Strategically located at the north-east side of the community behind Mira 3, the park is situated away from neighbouring villas to ensure minimal disturbance for other residents in the neighbourhood.

The dog park is open from 7:30 AM to 10:30 PM.

Note: Owners are advised to refrain from bringing pet treats or toys to the dog park.
