Earth Hour 2021

27 March 2021

On March 27, the community came together bringing people from all over the world who stood in unity for our planet.  Earth hour was observed on this day, across Downtown Dubai, by switching off all non-essential lights for one hour.

Emaar encouraged all residents to do their part in conserving energy and aiding the global effort in fighting climate change.

Residents could support the #Connect2Earth movement by posting visuals and sharing experiences on Emaar’s social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Earth Hour is World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) landmark movement that unites people to show their commitment to the planet.

Additional CCTVs

25 March 2021

When it comes to safety at Arabian Ranches II, we’re always raising the bar.

• Nearly 28 additional CCTVs have been installed near amenities.

• Half are dome cameras, featuring varifocal lens, allowing to zoom, and increase viewing angle.

• Others are bullet cameras that have a long-range view and infrared sensors allowing crystal-clear night vision.

• All cameras are weather-proof and can withstand heavy downpours or windy conditions. They’re also ‘vandal-proof’, with tough exterior metal casings.

• Additionally, 30 LEDs have been installed at various locations identified by our security team. These feature 5-watt bulbs and are solar-powered, with a six hour battery life.

Noon collect

25 March 2021

New lockers for your delivered goods.

No need to ask neighbours to collect your order again – ‘noon collect’ is now in your community!

Here’s how it works:

• When placing your order, choose the ‘add a new address’ option while check out.

• You’ll see a map of all nearby noon lockers – just pick the one in your community (it’s located along the entrance of your football ground).

• When your order is in the locker, you’ll get an SMS with a pick-up code.

• Head for the locker, enter the code and get your goods!

P.S. The lockers are open 24/7 – but remember to pick up your order in five days or they get sent back to noon (and you get a full refund).
