Tools you can borrow

10 September 2020

A handy toolbox is now available on a to-borrow basis at your community’s concierge. The kit comprises a hammer, three screwdrivers, a set of four hexkeys, spanner, plier, measuring tape, box-cutter and electric tape.

To borrow the toolbox, simply reach out to your community’s security or concierge to check its availability, head over and register your details before picking it up.

Aim to return the toolbox in good condition, within a day to make sure all residents have easy access to it. Don’t forget to sanitise the tools after you’re done with the toolbox.

Recycling cages installed

15 August 2020

If you’re enthusiastic about recycling and have more to give than you can fit in your villa’s recycling bin, you’ll be delighted to hear that your community’s very first recycling station has been installed!

  • You can dump paper, cardboard boxes and containers in the bin.
  • Ensure that you don’t drop paper that has been stained or soiled.
  • Things you can’t throw into the bin include glass, metal, ceramics, electronic or organic waste.

The recycling station is located next to the Mira prayer hall.

Fountains that dance and dazzle

Brace yourselves for a spectacular visual treat – remember the fountains at the entrance to the Marina Walk, right beside Dubai Marina Towers? They’ve been upgraded to deliver mind-blowing orchestrated performances!

  • Three speakers positioned radially around the fountains pump out a combined output of over 500 watts.
  • More than 50 coloured LEDs bathe each plume of water in rich colours that flash in harmony with the music.
  • A smart control unit uses advanced algorithms to analyse the music’s waveform, synchronising the firing of the water pumps and flashing of the lights.

Shows will take place every 20 minutes from 9 AM to 11 PM, and 6 PM to 10 PM.

Bad news for mosquitoes

19 July 2020

We’ve installed five futuristic mosquito traps around the community lake.

The machines emit a concoction of human scents and carbon dioxide that skeeters in a 20-metre radius find irresistible.

Once they’re close enough the large fan sucks them into a holding chamber. There’s no getting out.

The tanks are powered by solar panels that keep the contraptions active all day and night.

An interest-free payment plan was unveiled to assist homeowners.

Safety at the frontier of Ramadan 2020

24 May 2020

Safety measures may have introduced social distancing among us, but the spirit of Ramadan brought the community closer than ever.

Over 151,000 Iftar meal packets were distributed to service providers across 11 main locations, within several communities allocating spaces where the workers could break their fast, while adhering to the recommended distance.  Even those who could not attend weren’t left out, as meals were delivered directly to campsites.

As always, our teams went above and beyond to ensure the spirit of Ramadan truly resonated throughout the community.

Community disinfection drive

30 April 2020

In light of the ongoing COVID-19 situation, Emaar Community Management has initiated community-wide sanitisation drives to ensure that all the swimming pools, public washrooms and other touchpoints in the common areas are adequately disinfected on a daily basis. The sanitisation procedures are carried out using Dubai Municipality-approved disinfectants.

Additionally, all service providers, delivery personnel and contractors entering the community are screened with thermal equipment at the community entrance. Gloves and masks are worn by all service providers, who are briefed daily on best practices. Social distancing is also practised among all workers.
